FlexiTime runs in the Flash player, this means it won't run natively in the iPad browser. You need to use remote desktop software such as Splashtop to run FlexiTime from a remote desktop. We have plans for a iPhone app that will have time entry capability although no release date set for this yet.

Is there any news on the iPhone app yet? Would be good as my clients mostly using iPhone so it would be real good if they could order staff through iPhone.

Gordon. I've had a bit of success using the iSwifter app (browser) instead of safari. Haven't tested all functions yet though. I would really like to link up and discuss with other users the time billing functionality of flexitime. I find the the pay side of flexitime very good but the time billing very clunky. Cameron

We've had reports from someone who has tried FlexiTime on an Android tablet. Sounds like there are no problems running it on there.

We've had another customer reporting that Photon on the iPad works well.

I have tried Photon and a remote desktop app called PocketCloud by Wyse. PocketCloud I find is absolutely fantastic for running FlexiTime on the iPad. In fact it's even better the running FlexiTime natively in the browser on Android tablets. The only drawback is that it is connecting to a desktop computer in order to run FlexiTime, so you need to have a desktop machine running that you can log into.

We are keen to see that " iPhone app that will have time entry capability" (September 2011) up-and-running.  Most of our field staff have iPhones so a simple application would be very helpful. Xero has a simple to use iPhone application so something similar would be great.

We're liking the look of Puffin Browser. It seems to handle Flash very well. FlexiTime even looks good on a screen as small as my Galaxy 3. If anyone else gives Puffin a go, please let us now how you find it.
