You can set up an administrator in FlexiTime without including them in the payroll or on your subscription charge.
To do so, take the following steps:
- Under Setup > Employees, create a new employee for the administrator. Set the pay frequency to Never. Any other mandatory fields can be set to any value - they'll have no effect.
- Edit the employee record and add an Email Address on the Personal tab.
- On the Employment tab, enter a Finish Date that is in the past (i.e. yesterday or earlier).
- Go to their Personal > User Access tab. Add a username and the appropriate User Role and tick Email Login Details. Click Save.
This will send an email to the user with a link for them to set their own password.
It also makes the employee inactive so that they are not included on your invoice, but they'll still be able to log on.
