FlexiTime Release 22 September

Follow

This release contains the following changes:

Run pay reports directly from Pay window

When you are viewing a pay you can now run certain reports directly from the pay window, rather than having to close the pay and go to the reports tab. The options available differ depending on whether you are looking at an open pay or a finalised pay:

Open pay - Pay Summary Report, Pay Leave Report

Finalised pay - as for an Open Pay but also with the ability to print payslips and resend pays to Xero if connected.

When reports are run from the pay window the report will be run for just the pay selected, as opposed to combining all pays for the same Pay Date when you run the reports from the Payroll > Reports tab.

Pay Leave Report

This is a new report that summarises leave taken in a pay. In our future Leave Requests release it will also detail the individual days covered by leave requests to explain the way FlexiTime has processed the leave request.

The Public Holiday section previously in the Pay Summary Report has been moved to this new report.

Automatically Select Highest Annual Leave Rate

In the past FlexiTime has defaulted to the employee's normal rate for annual leave, but warned when the ordinary or average rates were higher. To make this process simpler we have added an option to have the highest rate chosen automatically.

Under Setup > Company Settings > Pays you can now choose which approach you prefer.

New companies will be automatically set to default to the highest rate.

Leave History Report Available From Employee Leave Tab

You can now run the Leave History Report when you're editing an employee by using the Leave History Report button on the Leave tab. This is the same report as is available under Payroll > Reports > Leave Reports.
