When a job is assigned to an employee you may want to send an email to notify them that they have been assigned a new job.

You can do this automatically in FlexiTime by setting the Status field to Job Assigned. You may have to add Job Assigned as a new Job Status in the Dropdown Values screen under Company Settings.

When the job is assigned to an employee and the status set to Job Assigned the employee will receive an email at their email address notifying them that they have been assigned the job. Additional comments can be added to the email by entering them in the Comments field on the job. You may want to give them some information about the job or what they need to do next. Note that this message is only sent when both those fields are getting set at the same time. For example, setting the status when the employee is already assigned to the job will not send the message.
